In the winery's words
Our oldest Shiraz vines went into the ground in 1889. They produce maybe 2 tonnes per hectare now β nothing. But the wine they make is why the club exists. We pick late, ferment open-top, and age in used French hogsheads. Modern Shiraz, old-vine backbone.
Four shipments a year, each timed to Australian seasons. We write tasting notes by hand. The club is small on purpose β we cap it at 400 members.
