In the winery's words
We farm vertical terraces cut into granite above the Sil River. Tractors can't reach these slopes — everything is done by hand, including the harvest. It's why most of our neighbors have given up. The wines are worth it: Mencía that tastes like stone and violet, Godello with the salt of the Atlantic.
The cooperative was founded in 1977 by eight families. We're eleven now. Each shipment includes at least one wine from a single family's parcel.
