Galicia Mencía

We farm vertical terraces cut into granite above the Sil River. Tractors can't reach these slopes — everything is done by hand, including the harvest. It's why most of our neighbors have given up. The wines are worth it: Mencía that tastes like stone and violet, Godello with the salt of the Atlantic.

The cooperative pools fruit from a handful of growers' parcels. Each shipment includes at least one wine from a single grower's parcel.
