Lukas is the sixth generation at Hof Weinbach. He farms 4.5 hectares of Riesling on blue slate terraces along the Middle Mosel. He studied at Geisenheim and came back in 2018.
Philosophy
“Spontaneous fermentation, long lees contact, Fuder casks for the GG wines. I don't add acid and I don't de-acidify. The slate gives me what I need.”
